PHASE 2   JUST HAVING FUN

TARIAN JEWLERY

Phoenicians used Muricidae to get Tyrian purple. But thousands of snails were required to dye a single cloth, so the color was very expensive, a luxury reserved to the nobles.

Inspired by the process of dying purple, I used photochromic pigment that can change color to purple under UV. I mixed the pigment with resin and then applied to the jewlery.
